The X-Files Fanbook Project

	I have been a huge fan of The X-Files since I was a little girl.  As a child, I watched the series with 
my older brother and practically grew up with Mulder and Scully.  I didn't always understand everything in the 
show and I was afraid of many things I saw, but I have overcome my fears and I am immersed again and again 
in the world of The X Files.  The main reasons for this are Gillian Anderson in her role as Dana Scully and the 
growing relationship between the two main characters.  I think it's simply unbelievable what the two characters 
have gone through and I am impressed by their mutual trust.  Each adventure brought them a little bit closer and 
they learned that they need each other.  Although they are very different, I think they are soul mates that found 
each other on a long journey.  

	Every episode that shows Scully often is my favorite episode.  Unfortunately she had to give up her son 
in the end, but I'm still hoping for a happy ending.  For me, The X Files is an important part of my past and a 
reminder of my childhood.  The show has given me courage in difficult situations, given me comfort on occasion, 
and continues to challenge me.  I will always be a fan of the show and hopefully I will show it to my children one 
day.  Maybe I will meet Gillian Anderson in person and finally ask all the questions that remain unanswered.  
Will I succeed?  The truth is out there!
